LocoTrack is the British railway database which contains;

All Diesel and Electric locomotives since 1948
•
Historical locomotive numbers, names, classes.
•
Current TOPS codes.
•
Shunters, including some pre-nationalisation
•
Current and heritage Diesel Multiple Units
•
Current and heritage Electric Multiple Units
•
Mark 1 through to Mark 5 coaches
•
Non passenger carrying stock, GUVs, etc.
•
All current wagons and some withdrawn (c. 40,000)
